THE PINK DREAM HOME

Hey guys! The pink dream home is finally here! It's taken me a bit of time to get this post done as i've been super busy with my business and there's not enough time in the day. Sometimes I wish the day had double the hours and the weeks were longer. However, it's here and I want to thank you all for waiting and giving me all the support!

Let's talk about this beautiful dark gray couch, which looks a little blue in different lighting. It's from Sofa Mania and I can't stress how amazing the prices are for whatever budget you are on. The quality is awesome and it's super comfy. The style of this couch is Old Hollywood with a velvet fabric, very elegant.

As many of you know, this is my daughters home. She moved from her previous apartment to this home which is a lot more spacious and grown up.
The first thing I did was paint her wall pink. I wanted to go with a pink that didn't look like it was meant for a little girls bedroom. This color is by Joanna Gaines and the color name is "Ella Rose ". It's not your typical pink you find in stores and I think it's the perfect shade of pink.

As you can see the kitchen was a mess. She didn't have enough space to put dishes so I decided to add some shelves for extra storage. I went ahead and put her everyday plates up there for easy access. I also bought this storage shelf from Ikea to use for anything else that's needed. If you can't tell, the space is very small and with very little counter space. I had to get creative and figure out how to get more storage space without crowding up the area. The wallpaper is also one of my favorite things, it looks beautiful! It gave the kitchen a completely new look. Check out the before and after.

The table shown I had already from Ikea. The budget I was working with was small so I had to figure out how to get creative and stay within the budget. The table was an inspiration from one I saw at some store and the price was outrageous! I wanted to make my own using what I already had. I decided to paint it gold as it was white previously. It had glass on top and wood on the bottom. I bought marble paper that's similar to wallpaper and used it on both parts. The table looks brand new and like it cost a fortune! I'm so happy with the end result.

If you follow me on Instagram, maybe you remember on my insta-stories this lamp that was a DIY project. It was an old lamp and it's now one of my favorite pieces in the home.
Just like the wallpaper, I wanted to do the whole dining room area as well. However, I ran out of this kind and it was discontinued! I had to go with plan B and just do the top part. However, I think that this looks so much better then what I had originally planned.

The tv stand is also from Sofa Mania and I just added some washi tape in gold to make it more interesting. You can find washi tape at any craft store.

The living room rug is from Target: Project 62. The size is 5x7.

Accessories are from Home Goods of course! Every project I do, I always make sure to go to Home Goods because I know i'll find everything I need at the best prices like I've mentioned to you guys before. You can find all the great brands at low prices.

The Dinning table is from Ikea and you can seat up to 8 people. The price is great as well. The Chairs are from World Market. If you want to save a bit of money, I've found some similar chairs at a lower cost. They may not be the same quality but I think they'll still work.

I hope you enjoyed the Pink Dream Home tour and it's given you inspiration for your home. I think this home is what every girl's dream is! Enjoy your day and I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends!
I'll be back soon with Christmas decor and with the tree I chose for my home this year! You don't want to miss it!

  1. You did a great job! I love the way you made the most out of that removable wallpaper in the kitchen and I never considered a white dining room table but you've made me a believer. Keeping this in mind for my furst grown up place!
