SUMMER HOME TOUR 2017

Welcome to my summer tour! I’m so excited because this is one of my favorite tours as I love the summer time. If you’re coming from my friend Tamara’s blog, thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Tamara’s house is beautiful isn’t it? It’s to die for! One of my favorite for sure.

If you’ve followed me for a while or know me from Instagram, you know I have a slight obsession with the color blush. It’s one of my favorite colors and it’s all over my house. Little touches here and there that are so appropriate for the start of summer don’t you think?

Let’s start with the entryway living room. I love the black and white with the touches of blush. It’s one of my favorite places in my home. If you want to see more of this living room, head over to the  HomeGoods blog and you can get more details there!

My house isn’t that big and neither is my entryway. It’s just a big wall you see as soon as you walk into the house. I decided to add a mirrored table that I love and a mirror that was a gift from my mother. A lot of you have asked me where I purchased the mirror and I’m not sure the place exactly. I believe it may have come from Mexico. It’s beautiful and I love it in my home. I added a tall vase with some flowers that I found at Ikea. It’s perfect for this table. Also, some accessories and a plant to give this space some life and welcome summer into my home.

The second living room is where we get together to watch TV and where we spend a majority of our day. I decided to change out the mirror I had hanging above the chimney for this juju that I think is adorable.
It stands out beautifully against the dark paint color that I decided on for this wall. I wanted the chimney to stand out because it’s the first thing you see when you walk into this room. The paint color is “graphite” by Benjamin Moore.

The office space is very small but with some pink touches it looks complete. The desk is an old buy from Ikea and was originally a dark brown as it was for my son. I decided to transform it and give it some life so I painted it white and made the legs gold. The handles were included with the desk but with just a little gold spray paint it looks brand new.

.

For the guest bathroom, I added some summer flowers and it feels like everything is full of life now. Adding flowers is never the wrong idea. You don’t always need to stress out or try too hard to make your house beautiful.

The patio will just be a little preview as I’m currently working on an outdoor patio post. For now, here’s what I can show you. Stay tuned!

Thank you for stopping by my blog and be sure to check out Loita’s blog next for more tips and ideas.
