2015 CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR - PART II

Welcome to the 2nd part of my Christmas Home tour! I hope you enjoyed the first one! Now I want to show you the second half of my home. Hope you like it!
Christmas time is very important to me which is why I like to decorate as much as possible, from the bedrooms to the bathrooms. What can I say, it's my favorite holiday and not only because of the gifts but also because we always have friends and family over and we have such a great time.

This year I decided to put up two trees. I was out buying some things at Michael's and they started putting up trees in October. I took one look at the tree and noticed it was different, it was skinny and elegant. I thought it was perfect for my second living room as there's not a lot of space. Well I think it came out perfect  and it makes the house look more festive. I've always wanted to have more than one tree in my house but since they're all so big I didn't have the room. But with this tree, it makes me want to put on in every room since they don't take up a lot space and they look beautiful.

The majority of my Christmas tree decoration are from HomeGoods like the pink ornaments you can't find anywhere else. Everywhere else I only saw hot pink and I wanted something light. I also went to
Pottery barn and the Dollar tree. I always find pretty things at a great price at these 3 stores!

My tree this year is gold and rose, some of my favorite colors. You all probably know that already! I decided to hand-make some of my ornaments this year, just like these extra large pom poms. They look super cute and they give the tree a romantic feel while the pink makes it look elegant. The previous year I went with black, white, and gold; it was super cute! But this year I wanted something completely different. Something between whimsical and romantic and I think I nailed it. The good thing is my husband never looks too much into the colors. He just tells me everything I do turns out beautiful :)

These trees are a little more on the rustic side but I found them at Homegoods and knew I had to have them. I never in a million years imagined myself buying something like this. I loved them so much and I couldn't bear to pass them up, they are a beauty.

Cookies! My favorite part about this time of the year. I love love love oatmeal but the ones i always have around are butter cookies. Those make me melt. I love cooking, baking, and then of course eating them.
My favorite drink for Christmas in COQUITO. I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but it's a typical Puerto Rican drink precisely were my good friend Gloribel from  Idknowhowshedoesit is from! I've been making this for years and it's what my guests look forward to every year. It's sort of like eggnog but a lot tastier. I will tell you this, I only make it during Christmas time because of all the calories! Wow you won't even believe it, but it is sooo worth it!

My bedroom has the color fushia incorporated, so I added more color. I like my room to feel happy and with lots of color since I have a lot of black and white throughout the rest of the house. It's my all time favorite color.

Here's to hoping the rest of your day is wonderful! Don't forget to check out the rest of the gangs beautiful Christmas Home tour.
