2015 CHRISTMAS HOME TOUR - PART I

I am beyond thrilled to invite you all into my home for this special occasion! I've partnered up with a group of interior design bloggers for this years Christmas home tour! This year is a bit different for me. It will be my second year doing a Christmas home tour but what's different is that I'm teamed up with a group of great friends that I met when I joined Instagram.

  Let's began shall we? WELCOME TO MY HOME!!  My decoration this year is a bit different from past years. Why? Because I normally like to use bright colors that will stand out, and this year I went with pastels. I did however use some bright colors in different areas of my home so I don't loose my signature touch!

 Not too long ago we were renovating the outside of our home since we haven't lived here for long. Well, the renovations continue. We painted the outside a cream color with black and white and for that reason I had to use the typical red Christmas color. My door is black and the red really stands out. Just add a couple of red ornaments and you're set. My husband still hasn't decided if he's going to be putting up lights, the same old story. We're going on 4 years without Christmas lights! Maybe one day I'll go out and find someone to put them up for me lol.

My entryway is small but it's were my Christmas tree goes every year. I like that when someone walks through the door, that's the first thing they see. The tree is gigantic and it fits perfectly in that space. It's vintage, but I love it.

A lot of people have asked how I could decorate my tree with different colors every year. Where do I store everything? I happen to have a 3 car garage so the smaller part meant for 1 car was the perfect spot to put everything. My husband put up racks for me to organize everything. I have all the ornaments in separate clear tubs based on color. Making sure your tubs are clear is great so you don't have to open them one by one to get the color you need. It's easy, simple, and I don't spend a lot of money. I've collected tons of ornaments over the years so I don't spend money all at once on one color. Every year I will add a little more to my collections as I go. Christmas tree decoration are from HomeGoods
