Happy Friday! The weekend is here and this is the time we all decide to redecorate around our house! This blog post is all about those little details we sometimes forget!
Everything is about details. I had this empty space next to my chimney so I decided to go to HomeGoods of course! I found this mirrored table that is beautiful. The best part is that it was in the clearance section! Now comes the part of looking for something to add to the table that will make it stand out but not break the bank. First thing I added was the lamp which is no surprise I found at HomeGoods too. Finding the perfect lamp can be a headache sometimes. What I do, is get 2 or 3 at a time to see which one I like the most. When I find the perfect one, I just return the ones I don't need. That is if I don't find another place for them in my house :)
Let's continue with the details. The flowers are always a nice compliment when it comes to decorating. Flowers make your space look elegant and with more life. It's always a good idea to have some handy in your home. For me, it's hard to go out and buy flowers constantly. What I saw worked for me is making a faux flower arrangement. They look super cute and very real if you choose the right flowers. Not to mention they last as long as you want them. If you're interested in buying these faux flowers, be sure to check out my store. I have a couple in stock at the moment and if you want something different, we can always work on something for you specifically. Click here to go directly to my store.
Apothecary jars. I always love having those in my home. They are so indispensable and look amazing. Just fill them up with whatever comes to your imagination. I put some candies in this one so I can offer some to guests that stop by. The big one is filled with mini disco balls. You can also use them in the kitchen and fill them up with faux fruit. Lemons, or even cookies. Whatever comes to mind. Always keep in mind that these small details have a big impact on your space.
I hope you all have a great weekend! Here's to getting things done at home and adding all these small details throughout your house to make it truly unique and yours!
